I am a professional wedding and family photographer for over 12 years now. During my career I was honoured to photograph for magazines like The New York Times and capture some high end weddings including celebrity weddings. I have spoken at several conferences in Europe about my journey and shared inspiration with hundreds of my colleagues. However, all of these experiences always led me to one simple feeling above all – that this job of mine, all of this is always about people. The center of it all are human beings, no matter how known or unknown they are to the world and no matter if their photos are going to be published in magazines or just end up in a private gallery. The goal I set myself as ultimate goal is to work with humans who get me, who want exactly what I have to give and who will give me that dopamine in life that makes me feel alive. Because then I can create. Really create. For them. For myself. It’s a very strange thing to say – create for myself, when I’m payed by a client to create for them, but I believe even in commercial work there can be creation above all.
